Is "Eunice" a holiday? (If this is the case; happy Eunice to you too!) That girl in the picture is so cute I could crush her with my awe, Whatever her name is...
I was not presented with any complications in the process of adopting her (ie. copyright) as a momentarily viable expression of my state of mind.
You don't want it to echo?
Anyway, assuming you don't, i thank you for the part you played in the temporary providence i experienced the night I found that picture and was finally gratified enough to sleep.
Might you not be proud I chose it? Just a thought?
D'spaire: Your name is on it. As far as I can tell (through a brief navigation of www.fade.ro), there are no requests for people not to borrow any of the images. If something is housed on the internet it is a pretty vast stretch of the imagination to think that it will never appear anywhere else, ever. Googled images abound here in blogworld. So maybe next time you could try to be a little polite ..woman.
Hey d'spaire, how can you steal something that can be readily reproduced for no cost and is worth nothing? I'll send you a cheque for total damages of $0.00 for your lost earnings, and a word of advice, don't take yourself too seriously, at least we know that our blogs are self-indulgent and for our own amusement.
Oh yeah, and if you aren't particularly good at hand drawing, or writing, but you know how to use photoshop, maybe you should try and be a comic book colorist instead...
Protection by law is effective only as far as it may be enforced. You must understand that your rights were not legally reserved in publishing of your site, and while you may still choose to reserve those rights, no cease and desist order has been served upon my client at this point. Copyright extends only to commercial use, and given that no lost revenue could be demonstrated (as your picture is not on the market for sale), your recourse to litigation is limited, especially given the international nature of this dispute.
The internet is not a safe place for copyright unless that right is already well established through proper real world channels. You really don't have any recourse other than disabling direct linking from your server.
But wasn't all the attention just lovely d'spaire?
Do you not understand that all this happened because I liked ur picture?? She's beautiful and she spoke to me. Is this not something similar to what you want for your art? This Elyssiumgirl says that if someone found expression (and a whole new meaning) in one of my "strings" of words, I would be happy to have helped (provided they didn't attribute the revised context to me)
These "pesky intruders" (my friends) are commenting because you are being mean. I understood you were angry so I didn't want to be mean. But apparently I have "frail words" am ignorant and can be likened to a heinous dictator. I feel you are taking your righteous indignation a little too far.
I can imagine that you were surprised to see it on my blog, possessive and possibly angry. (Given the themes on your website)
Maybe I could help by explaining that if you do a google image search under torn, it will appear amongst the results and anyone can take it. The pictures that are copyrighted cannot be copied.
I quote "So go ahead defile something nice just because you can and feel good about yourself ..."
Seems to be exactly what you are doing.
It is highly possible that I have come to terms with my "pragmatic filth" in a way that you are not quite willing to just yet (or can't). I don't feel the need to pour my vitriol all over everyone. I don't see the point. I want the world to be a nicer place.
But then again, where would you be without the "maggots... crawling over your dreams "?
Drawing comics about tiny talking puppies?
You love it.
*sighs*
Ah, the irony.
If you think about it I'm actually helping to advance your dreams by liking your picture and sharing it.
BTW, your name was always on it. (If you call Infested Dreamz a name)
or rather drive to encourage thought and expression with no ego attachments? And perpetuate the notion that nothing that exists is owned exclusively by anyone?
"Ignorance is bliss :)"
So I've heard.
The funny thing is, if you hadn't have been mean in the first place I would have just said Hello D'spaire she really spoke to me, do you mind if I put her on my blog for a few days?
SO,
Hello D'spaire she really spoke to me, do you mind if I put her on my blog for a few days?
D'spaire: Clearly English is not your first language, so you are doing pretty well, but; you do not seem to grasp English well enough to have mastered the art of tactful conversation. You were the first person to be rude and also the last. If you really like comics you should look into Neil Gaiman's work... He tackles some themes you would probably appreciate. Peace.
D'spair:We never said you were bad. I was just trying to make you understand that you are much more likely to get what you want by being polite. People are much more likely to do what you want if you ask them politely rather than berating them. That is all. Don't be so angry. Or do you love war so much that you set out looking for them? No one wishes you any ill feeling. Hope you like the comics I suggested : )
You are not the bad man but you began your enquiry with insults.
You were perhaps also angry about other things and seeing your "stolen" picture reinforced your injustices so you blamed me for your feeling.
I thought things would be included in a google search because people think it's OK to use them. Like I said there is something you can do to make sure people can't copy them. Ask your computer friends.
My intention was never to upset you. I thought you would be happy your picture was circulating. I thought that's what the web is for???
Anyway. The whole point is you seem to have to offload your anger before you can see reason. You rant and say a few mean things then post again in a little more "pragmatic" way. The difference between us is that although we both experience anger, I know my anger is mine and I would expect an argument if I express my raw anger and insult somebody.
I am quite tired of this.
I really think it's all about intention.
Mine was not to make you feel bad. Yours was expressly designed to make me feel bad because you think I deserve to. I don't feel I have the right to inflict that shit on people.
Your anger is yours.
This argument is what happened when you tried to force it on me.
Everything happens for a reason.
I don't want to use the picture anymore but thanks, and good luck with stuff.
Actually, I did not post that. Ellisium lives with me, I had not signed out of blogger when she posted that, so it came up under my username instead of hers. Sorry if you got confused.
We are two entirly diffent people who inhabit two entirely different bodies. To assume anything els would be completely ludicrous... Take care and goodluck for the future!
we share a house d'spair, not a room. So turning around wouldn't quite cut it, also, we are not always here at the same time. I'd like to move on to other topics of conversation. I'm interested to look at your blog, but the link doesn't seem to work...

Yes I have officially declared it Eunice Day. It is only an 'actual' holiday in a small village in Slovenia tho. You know the one.
She's beautiful.

's been fun.
You would be surprised by how much she does resemble me. Especially when I am fighting pronounced existential battles....
I have credited you and will remove her if absolutely necessary.

Chupa me mother fuckers?
(...and yeah, I know what it means)
My god, you really are retarded...
Lemme guess, 14? 15 years old?

You are getting beside yourself, d'spaire.

You finished ?
You can't make peace with a sword unless you lower it, sunshine. It seems by the time you are able to do that your audience will be long gone.
Finito.

There are so many things I could say but having realised that you actually think this is fun proves to me -
a. you are mean
b. you have power issues
c. I don't wanna talk to you
